Welcome to the tiny house
Our tiny house sits behind our home inside its own cedar fence, so the yard, the deck and the string lights are all yours while you're here. A lot of guests come to try tiny living for a weekend, and a few have left planning tiny homes of their own.
It's small, but every inch has a job: two ladder lofts with beds guests keep calling comfortable, a kitchenette for coffee and breakfast, a gas grill for real cooking and Wi-Fi fast enough to work from the table.

Inside the house
About 200 square feet on the main floor, plus two sleeping lofts above. Many guests tell us it feels roomier than they expected.
The lofts
Each loft has its own ladder. The queen loft is on one end and the two-twin loft on the other. Loft ceilings are low, so you'll sit up rather than stand.
The living area
A loveseat, a 40-inch TV with Roku guest mode for your own streaming apps and a shelf of books. The table seats two and doubles as a desk.
The kitchenette
A mini fridge with a small freezer, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, electric kettle and a Keurig with coffee. There's no stove, so the grill on the deck does the real cooking.
The bath
A walk-in shower, with the shower head at about 6 feet, plus towels, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, a hair dryer and an iron.
The yard
A cedar privacy fence on every side, a stepping-stone path, a deck with bistro seating, a gas grill with utensils and string lights for the evening.
Comfort
A ductless system heats and cools the house year-round, with portable fans for white noise and extra blankets for cold snaps.

Good to know
- Ladders and headroomBoth lofts are reached by ladder, not stairs. Headroom under the lofts is about 6'2" and the shower head is at about 6'. Some guests over six feet are fine with a little ducking, and others find it tight.
- Little onesThe open lofts aren't safe for infants, so the house isn't suitable for children under 2.
- Arrival and parkingSelf check-in with a lockbox by the door. Two spots marked Rental Parking are yours in the gravel lot, a short walk from your gate. RVs, moving trucks and trailers won't fit.
- CamerasThere are no cameras at the tiny house. Ring cameras record video and audio outside our own house, at its four corners, on the white shed and at both doorbells.
- Our homeWe live in the house in front of yours. Our two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels have their own fenced area, and inside your fence you'll have complete privacy.
- House rulesNo pets, no smoking or vaping inside, and no parties. Quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. A $250 fee applies for pets or smoking.
- Who can bookThe primary guest must be at least 25, with up to four guests overnight.
- After you bookYou'll sign a short rental agreement within 48 hours. Your lockbox code arrives at noon on check-in day.

Questions guests ask
Are the beds really up ladders?
Yes. Most guests, kids especially, handle them easily. If climbing is hard for anyone in your group, the Nashville Suite on the same property has a regular staircase instead.
How tall is too tall?
Headroom under the lofts is about 6'2" and the shower head is at about 6'. Some guests over six feet stay comfortably with a little ducking, while others find it tight.
Can four adults stay?
Yes, but it's cozy. The house is most comfortable for two adults, or a family with kids.
Is the yard really fully fenced?
Yes. A cedar privacy fence surrounds the yard on every side, with a gate at the entrance.
Is there a stove?
No. The kitchenette has a microwave, toaster, toaster oven, electric kettle, Keurig and mini fridge, and the gas grill on the deck covers real cooking.
Is it warm enough in winter?
The ductless system heats the house year-round, and there are extra blankets. On the coldest nights, pack warm socks, since a tiny house feels the weather more than a big one.
Can I work while I'm there?
Yes. The Wi-Fi tests at 660 Mbps, and the table works as a desk for one.
Why book here instead of Airbnb?
You skip the booking fee and deal with us directly. The house, the calendar and the cleaning are the same either way.
What's the cancellation policy?
A full refund within 24 hours of booking (when you book at least a week ahead) or 14 or more days before check-in. Half back from 7 to 13 days out, and no refund inside 7 days.
May we bring a pet?
We're sorry, but no pets are allowed. Our own dogs live in the main house.
